» Depositor machine
The depositor is placed directly over the steel band at the entrance of the oven: it is designed to handle very soft dough, rich in fat.
The head of the machine consists of a pair of grooved rolls which evenly feed the dough to a set of dosing pumps positioned underneath. The “one pump-one nozzle” concept ensures the uniformity of weight across the width. The cycle of the head is as follows: first it lowers the head, then it follows the band movement while depositing the dough, then it lifts the head to cut the tail and finally it returns to its starting position. In order to improve control while cutting the tail, the pumpset slightly reverses its movement in order to increase the “tail cut” effect.
The machine is fully servo controlled: all the movements of the head are driven by independent motors positioned away from the sides of the unit. No shafts or cams drive any movements: this means that all possible adjustments can be set from the touch-screen operator interface panel with its in-built recipe storage system. Flexibility is thereby guaranteed: a wide and extremely varied range of dough types can be handled easily. Flexibility is also enhanced as the machine can work as a wire cutter or depositor with rotating nozzles for the production of swirl deposited dough pieces. A synchronised jam depositor can be added to the unit in order to produce added-value products.
Production changeover has never been so rapid in depositor equipment since the entire unit can be dismantled for cleaning purposes or for changing over production without the use of any kind of tool. The safety of the operator is in no way affected.
The unit can be supplied with a working width from 1.000 up to 1.500 mm.
All the mechanical components of the unit are housed outside the frame of the machine. This solution, which is in line with the company’s design philosophy, ensures hygiene and easy cleaning of the machinery, and facilitates access for inspection and servicing.
